Congressman William Delahunt is a Traitor

William Delahunt Look closely at the little picture I've placed to your left. US Representative William Delahunt committed an act of treason against the country of the United States of America on June 26, 2008. The American Heritage dictionary defines treason as the "Violation of allegiance toward one's country or sovereign, especially the betrayal of one's country by waging war against it or by consciously and purposely acting to aid its enemies." Even if treason can't be proven, Delahunt has still committed a crime.

Jingle Jugs?

Jingle Jugs If certain words concerning the female anatomy bother you, please leave now. You have been warned.

While I was looking through my stats, I came across "jingle jugs" as a search term. Since I'd never written either words on this blog (and I checked to be sure), the search engines must think the words "jugs" and "boobs" are synonymous. Yes, I've used "boobs" once or twice.

I am NOT a Glory Hound!

I'm not a glory hound. Really. All of my life, all I've ever wanted to do was blend in. Over the past 30 years, I've been a manager, a leader, a father and many other things. There have been times when I was thrust into the limelight despite my best efforts to avoid it.

Yesterday, I was contacted by Sky News out of the UK because they wanted to run a story on the recent blogosphere altruism event that I unwittingly started with my post on a possible disappearing act (which should air on the 22nd). Ruth, a multi-media producer there, asked me if I would go to a studio somewhere to record a comment and I declined for a couple of reasons that I won't go into here. The point is that I'm not into self-promotion like that.

If you want to see shameless self-promotion, watch this classic YouTube video:

Doing the Hula with Hulu

Hulu

What exactly IS Hulu? Well, to sum it up, it's another clone of YouTube. There are a couple of things that are different, however, and you won't be able to appreciate it until you get to see it with your own eyes.

Unlike YouTube, Hulu is partnered with AOL, Comcast, MSN, MySpace, Yahoo, and premier content owners like E! Entertainment, FUEL TV, SciFi Network and USA Networks.

You can't get access to Hulu until they invite you to their private beta. I signed up today for an invitation and I'm eagerly waiting. From the looks of it, the video quality will be much better than YouTube. The great part about it is that it'll be absolutely free, just like YouTube.

If the service is as good as it's hyped, I'll be doing the hula when I get access to it.
