My wife and I have come to an agreement: We're replacing our window blinds with window curtains (also called drapes or drapery in other places). It's not going to happen as soon as I would like because we still haven't bought our own washing machine and that's how we intend to clean the curtains.

There are all kinds of washing machines being used that are either top load washing machines or front load washing machines. If you can see the tiny picture to your left, what kind of washing machine is that? It's a top load washing machine that shouldn't even be sold anymore, but it is.
