A washing machine and dryer set is a planned purchase for after the completion of our dirty kitchen and laundry room extension. After my wife and I looked around at several appliance stores, we settled on a matching set by Whirlpool.
Mikael Arhelger from Hong Kong read my post on homemade laundry detergent and sent me an email message about a laundry product that will soon be unleashed on the unsuspecting population of the Philippines. Looking like something left over from the first Star Trek television series, it's supposed to be an environmentally friendly way of doing your laundry. Frankly, I'm more interested in how much money people will save by using it instead of expensive laundry detergent.
It's not as bad as it sounds. My wife is leaving on May 20th to go back to work. Despite my objections, she wants to spend 6 months to a year working to save enough money to buy the luxury items we don't have right now as well as for the materials necessary to finish our outer walls, laundry room and dirty kitchen. She's not as patient as I am.
