The American Dairy Association slogan of "Ahh, the power of cheese" has no effect on me. The television advertisements are humorous, but that's about it. No, when it comes to something having power over me, it has to be BACON. It can't be just any bacon either. It has to be extra-lean bacon. Until sometime in 2008, I had never seen extra-lean bacon. Okay, I know bacon is loaded with fat regardless of how lean it is and isn't a part of healthy eating habits, but I can't help myself. The smell overwhelms my senses.
