If you're an American, you should be pretty annoyed by that headline. If you're not, perhaps you agree with it. Either way, I just convinced you to read this article. Americans, in general, are not stupid. Some individuals are, but it's only because they're SHEEPLE. I'll explain that at the end.

I just finished browsing other blogs where I'd left comments in the past few days. I came across one where I think another commentator didn't realize I was an American. I live in the Philippines but I am still an American. Even if I decide to obtain citizenship in the Philippines in a few years, I will still be an American. I will just have a dual-citizenship status with both countries.

The truth is, I will never intentionally mislead or try to disguise the fact that I'm an American. I love America. I may not like some of our leaders there, but I love the country. My priorities in life are in this order: God, Family, and Country.

1) God. I am not a member of any religious belief system. I am not Jewish, Catholic, Christian, Mormon, Muslim, Protestant or anything else I've failed to mention. I am not atheist and I am not agnostic. I have faith in God and I have my own reasons for it that have nothing to do with what's written in any book. Some people believe that God exists whereas I know that he does (and that's part of what keeps me going).

2) Family. The world was designed around the concept of family, which includes sex and procreation between a husband and wife. I am not anti-homosexual or homophobic in any way (although I used to be) but I don't believe any of the garbage that homosexuals try to make me believe. An example is the so-called "homosexual gene". The same people who support that theory also support Darwin's Theory of Natural Selection. I submit that if Darwin's theory applied to humans, any so-called gene would have been weeded out long ago as not being beneficial to the continuance of the human race.

3) Country. I served my country for 20 years on active duty and I'm still serving my country. Even when I receive my final discharge in September of 2008 (after 10 years in the reserve), I will still be serving my country. It will just be indirectly. By the way, the full name of the country is the "United States of America". That is why we are called "Americans". It is the only country in either North America or South America with the word "America" in the title. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

One of my goals in life is to make people question what they do and why they do it. People who don't are nothing more than sheeple (people that act like sheep) who believe everything they're told by a religion, a government, or the mass media.

Sometimes I rub people the wrong way by what I write because frankly, the truth bothers people who don't want to believe it. I'm not saying that I'm perfect. Sometimes I am completely and utterly wrong — the human part of me is responsible.

If it seems that sometimes, by what I write, that I appear to be un-American, please refer to my three priorities above.
