The traditional Christmas Eve and Christmas Day happenings probably occur in the Philippines, but I would have to say in a very tiny part of the society. The majority of people that live here simply cannot afford to observe the traditions followed in more well-to-do societies. Nevertheless, they do celebrate the holiday as best they can.

For those of you who still believe there's a Santa Claus, you're in the wrong place. Adults know that he's a fictional character, but we still find it amusing to support the fantasy for the children. After all, it's the spirit of giving that counts and the character epitomizes that spirit. Now, knowing that there is no Santa, it's up to you to get those all-important Christmas gifts for the people you love.
