American Goulash is like Meow – it could be anything!

goulash Named after Hungarian Goulash, called gulyás or gulyásleves, American Goulash is not like Hungarian Goulash at all. Since my wife has been away, I've been preparing American Goulash at least 3 times per month (9 days worth, if you consider leftovers). That doesn't sound like too much, does it?

Corned Beef and Rice – A Staple of Mine

Libby Rice is a staple in the Asian countries, much like potatoes in the US. Rice isn't too much fun to eat, however, without something like corned beef to eat with it. In the Philippines, we call that ulam ("dish" in English, but not quite the correct translation).
