No one likes going to the doctor and I'm no exception. There are times, however, where it's absolutely necessary. If something in or on your body hurts, and you don't know what it is, please see a doctor as soon as possible. Getting the proper treatment when it can make a difference can literally mean the difference between life and death.
There's an old saying in business circles that we should pay attention to: If you want to be successful, you either have to be the first or you have to be the best in your field. It's a good rule to follow, but there are exceptions.
If you treat blogging as a business, you have to keep up with current events within your particular niche. If you want to increase website traffic to your blog, including increased search engine traffic, you absolutely need to be one of the first to write for a topic being discussed about current events. I'll use a current events topic to make my point:
