Hail to the King, Baby.

I and my son just got finished watching the three movies in the Evil Dead series, The Evil Dead (1981), Evil Dead II (1987), and Army of Darkness (1992). Both of us are huge Bruce Campbell fans.

I was amused by the cameos he did for Spider-Man (2002) and Spider-Man 2 (2004). I remember his cameo from the end of Darkman (1990) (which many people don't) as well as his guest appearances on Hercules: The Legendary Journeys (1995-1999) and Xena: Warrior Princess (1995-2001) on television.

Bruce has had a fairly long career already and I won't go on listing series and movies he's starred in but I will mention that I recently watched Bubba Ho-tep (2002), which was a lower budget movie than I would have expected. If he wasn't such a good actor (in my opinion), that movie wouldn't have been worth watching at all.

Bruce's performance in most of what he's done can only be described as "cheesy". Much of it's over-the-top and hilarious, even when it's not really meant to be. Bruce Campbell is what I like to call "The King of Cheese". Hail to the king, baby.
