I'm Not Apathetic – I Just Don't Care

boredom I'm not really bored. I'm just not interested. Ever since I started working with niche blogs, I've all but lost complete interest in this blog.

Pick My Brain, But Not To Pieces

Eating brains stops the pain. In February of 2007, I offered my wit and wisdom to anyone who asked when I announced that the answer man cometh. No one, and I mean no one, took me up on my offer.

I'm not quite a "jack of all trades", but I do have over 30 years of experience under my belt. I've been around the world at least once, I've been to more than half of the states that comprise the US and I'm a father with grown sons. The latter is probably the most important aspect of my personal history.

Use Twitter

Now that you can follow me on Twitter, there's really no reason you can't ask for information or assistance.

Unlike email, Twitter messages don't get blocked by an overzealous spam filter. And unlike an instant messenger, I don't have to use your IM or be online to receive the messages.

Sign up for Twitter and use it. It's not just for saying what you're doing.

Pick My Brain

Yes, I said "pick my brain". Just don't pick it to pieces or try to eat it. You'd be surprised at the things I know, even things that I've long shuffled to the bottom of the plate stack.

Believe me when I tell you; if you have knowledge that I need, I won't hesitate to ask.

Why Do I Blog?

A few days ago, I was "tagged" by eJabs to answer this very simple, yet profound question.

The simple answer is that I blog to stay alive. Sounds melodramatic, doesn't it?

I'll repeat what I've probably said a hundreds time on this blog: I'm retired. Not only that, but I have absolutely no job and no responsibilities whatsoever. The story's long so I'm not going to make you wade through it. It's pretty boring.

You would think that I'd find something nobler to come up with, but stretching or bending the truth are difficult things for me. Anyway, if I didn't blog, I'm sure I would die of boredom and depression.

And that, my dear friends, is my final answer.

The Answer Man Cometh

I am so underwhelmed with things to do, I'm here to ask you a favor. Look at my "About" page and some of my experience. Then ask me a question. Any question. I'll make it easy for you to send me a message: Click for the Contact Form

I'll answer the question in a separate post (unless you tell me not to) if I can answer the question intelligibly. If I can't, I'll tell you I can't. The secret to being an expert on any subject is NOT having the knowledge, but knowing where to find it. I can be an expert at almost anything.
