Back in September (2009), I considered moving all of my websites to a dedicated server sometime this year due to potential VPS web hosting problems. Well, after making changes on the server and other things I'll describe, I no longer feel the need to do so.
It's easy to build your business on free or cheap website hosting if you know where to look. Of course, it depends on what kind of business you're building and if branding comes into the picture. Web hosting speed is a factor in all cases and doing research beforehand can save you a lot of headaches and frustration. Hopefully, in the next few paragraphs, I can steer you away from cheap web hosting and any kind of free website hosting which will do you more harm than good.
Of all the things to be addicted to, video games can't be classified as the worst. They can, however, become incredible time sinks for people who just can't get enough of the gaming phenomena, whether it's online or offline. My younger son (Jon) is a video game addict and he calls himself a "gamer", wearing the title like a badge of honor. As a non-gamer, I guess I just don't get it.

The "Public Domain Torrents" website is just one place where you can get classic movies of all kinds and some are not that old. I'm not telling you do to something you believe to be illegal; I'm just pointing you to places to go if you're not concerned about it.

As a friend of mine tends to say, I really like getting into the "code monkeyism" aspect of working online. Every once in a while I'll do a search for some computer programming information and invariably, I'll end up reading something that's been published on webmasterworld.com, which has become a famous haven for web programmers and programming wannabes. Recently, I kept coming across a familiar name and I couldn't quite place it. The name was Brett Tabke.
