My wife sent me 2 bottles of the Hot Shot MaxAttrax Roach Killing Powder back in November so that I could kill me some pesky ants. It isn’t a natural ant killer, but it isn’t like harmful pesticides either.

Although the front of a bottle says “roach killing powder”, the fine print says “Kills Cockroaches, Ants, Silverfish, Palmetto Bugs & Waterbugs”. I already knew this, or I wouldn’t have asked for boric acid in the first place, the primary ingredient of this product. I already had experience, back in 1985, with using another brand of boric acid in order to wipe out a roach infestation.

I can deal with ants that want to come in my house and feast on whatever they can find. I can deal with the ant trails coming through the cracks of the doors and windows. I can even deal with the buggers making nests on the wall just below the ceiling. I can’t, however, deal with ants that want to munch on my private parts! When that happens, it’s war!
