Warning: brain dump ahead. Unless you are keen on losing 20 points on your IQ score, please shut your eyes now.
YES, NOW!!
You were warned…
- Top 10 lists usually have one thing in common: 10 list items.
- 68.6% of top 10 lists have the words "you should know" in the title of the list, even though it's superfluous.
- 56% of top 10 lists usually have random stats thrown out (97.85% of which are pure guesswork/false).
- Most top 10 lists have the word "top 10" in the title. No top 10 list usually begins with "bottom 10" unless it happens to be this one.
- People who write top 10 lists try to wring out 10 points out of a subject to write about even if they don't have 10 points to say.
- They usually split one point into many to make up the numbers.
- Writing a bottom 10 list about a top 10 list is ironical, but nevertheless a subtly clever attempt at humour (in case you haven't got it yet).
- A bottom 10 list usually lies about having 10 items ( ) especially *this* bottom 10 list.
- The above point was about a bottom 10 list and not about a top 10 list therefore making this list self-referential.
Now go and wash your eyes…
