Natural Medicine in an Unnatural World
Before I begin, I want to make it crystal clear that I'm not an environmentalist, tree hugger or anything like that. I do believe, however, that natural medicine is better than the unnatural medicine concocted by pharmaceutical companies (and approved by government agencies).
Some of what I'm going to mention may be a rehash of things I've already mentioned here or somewhere else, but the most important thing is that you actually READ it.
Oregano
Oregano, treated as a spice, is used for culinary purposes. It can be tasted in most Italian dishes, and almost always in REAL Italian dishes versus the Americanized counterparts. It's a strong-tasting herb and takes a bit of getting used to if you haven't been eating spaghetti or pizza all your life.
The health benefits of Oregano are not widely publicized and they I think they should be. Oregano is high in antioxidants and has demonstrated healthful activity against food-borne pathogens, fungal infections and other bad stuff. It has been shown to be more effective than 18 man-made drugs in defeating the Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus bacterium, responsible for staph infections.
Oregano has been used for years to treat common illnesses in the Philippines and it makes you wonder why it's not widely known in the US. The reason should be obvious.
Cranberry Juice
From what I understand, cranberries have the highest concentration of citric acid of all the fruits available for consumption and is classified as a "superfruit". I don't have to be convinced.
When my wife was out of work for two weeks after being prescribed muscle relaxers, it was cranberry juice I used to flush her kidneys with. After spending a considerable time in the bathroom and on many occasions within a few-hour period, she seemed to be miraculously cured of her lower back pain.
People write about colon cleansing and other toxin-flushing treatments, but this one is number one in my book.
Hydrogen Peroxide
A friend of mine insisted I read a bunch of material about hydrogen peroxide, which should be called hydrogen dioxide with a chemical composition of H2O2. Names stick, however, even if they're not completely correct.
The antiseptic version of hydrogen peroxide is not safe for consumption, but there is a grade of it that is. It's used to coat the lining of the flexible plastic juice bags which have recently become popular with children (and some adults).
There are claims that strict dosages and consumption schedule, bathing in it, and even intravenous usage can cure many illnesses that man-made drugs cannot. The list includes many forms of cancer. Apparently, it causes cancerous and dead cells to be expelled from the body quite quickly. Quick enough to make a person feel nauseas and ill.
The way I understand it, the reason people are getting sicker and sicker (generally) as the generations progress is because hydrogen peroxide is not making it to our bodies from the original source: Rainwater. Ozone reacting with sunlight causes an extra oxygen molecule to bond with rainwater and it is this rainwater that used to make it to the crops that produce the food we eat. Due to man-made air pollution, this REAL rainwater loses that extra molecule before reaching the ground.
Other Natural Medicine
I have touched on only three items from a long list of natural medicine. If you trust the doctors that prescribe stuff that doesn't seem to work, then you really should try the things that already exist. It seems to me that every time mankind tries to monkey around with nature, disastrous results (and not always readily apparent) occur.
Of course, there are some natural things you need to stay away from, like dihydrogen monoxide. That stuff can kill you.

Just got this about Hydrogen Peroxide so I thought would share it:
1. Take one capful (the little white cap that comes with the bottle) and
hold in your mouth for 10 minutes daily, then spit it out. (I do it when I
bathe .) No more canker sores, and your teeth will be whiter without
expensive pastes. Use it instead of mouthwash..
2. Let your toothbrushes soak in a cup of peroxide to keep them free of
germs.
3. Clean your counters and table tops with peroxide to kill germs and leave
a fresh smell. Simply put a little on your dishrag when you wipe, or spray
it on the counters.
4. After rinsing off your wooden cutting board, pour peroxide on it to kill
salmonella and other bacteria.
5. I had fungus on my feet for years until I sprayed a 50/50 mixture of
peroxide and water on them (especially the toes) every night and let dry.
6. Soak any infections or cuts in 3% peroxide for five to ten minutes
several times a day. My husband has seen gangrene that would not heal with
any medicine but was healed by soaking in peroxide.
7. Fill a spray bottle with a 50/50 mixture of peroxide and water and keep
it in every bathroom to disinfect without harming your septic system like
bleach or most o the r disinfectants will.
8.. Tilt your head back and spray into nostrils with your 50/50 mixture
whenever you have a cold, plugged sinus. It will bubble and help to kill
the bacteria. Hold for a few minutes, and the n blow your nose into a
tissue.
9. If you have a terrible toothache and cannot get to a dentist right away,
put a capful of 3% peroxide into your mouth and hold it for ten minutes
several times a day. The pain will lessen greatly.
10. Put half a bottle of peroxide in your bath to help rid boils, fungus, or
other skin infections.
Thanks, Bonnie!
Wow. What a great list. I never knew half these remedies. I'll have to find some hydrogen peroxide and give it a try.

Awesome list! It's really astonishing how these natural medicine works. It's almost like a miracle! Sometimes it performs better than some manufactured medicine. The good thing about it is that it's natural. You're not putting unknown chemicals inside your body.
Still, prevention is better than cure.
Cheers!
Remember the days when there are no pharmaceuticals yet? No medicine available for people, but hey you have a point because natural is always the best remedy.
That is really information for people to know but in addition to Hydrogen Peroxide Epsom salt has many cures also. Do a little research to check it out.

I never knew that oregano could be used for medicinal purposes. That's very interesting. I would consider cranberries a "superfruit" if they weren't so bitter and gross.
i read somewhere that the fda registered a death case from consumption of h2o2 in a trial to treat cancer so i think it is better to take hydrogen peroxide from natural sources like some vegetables and fruits or even drink the rainwater in a pollution free area.
