Unveiling My Master Plan

Pinky: "Gee, Brain. What are we going to do tonight?"
Brain: "The same thing we do every night, Pinky. Try to take over the world."

Okay, well, it's not quite like that. Although Brain (of "Pinky and the Brain") was persistent in trying to achieve that single, solitary goal, I actually have several goals that require persistence. I'll preface my diatribe by stating that I won't tell you about all of them. I hate having to eat my own words.

After My Father's Death

Personal events like a death in the family can exact a heavy emotional toll. I am no different than anyone else in that regard and I just had to walk away from everything I'd been doing online for a while.

I have gained a new perspective on what is and what isn't important as far as my online activities go. I won't go into detail about it, but suffice it to say that I won't be spinning my wheels doing things that are unproductive.

My Master Plan

I'm currently finishing up a programming project that should be completed by the end of the day (or sometime tomorrow if things don't go so smoothly). Once the project is completed, I will be free to spend the largest percentage of my time doing what I like to do the most: Writing.

I have several blogs. I haven't written on anything for any of them in days for some of them and in weeks for the others. This is going to change and with a vengeance. My ultimate goal is to write no less than five articles per day per blog for at least a month. While I realize I probably can't do that on all of them, it's still my ultimate goal. At the end of the first month in trying to achieve it, I'll reexamine the situation and change it if necessary.

Other Programming Projects

I have other programming projects in various stages of completion. Most are piecemeal, with various bits of code in various files. Putting it all together will be time-consuming.

Unlike the current project I'm finishing up on, I will not let these other projects interfere with my master plan.

Chosen Topics

One of the reasons I bounce from topic to topic is because certain topics are extremely boring and repetitious. I'm going to try to focus on health-related topics as much as possible and the reason should be obvious.

I've been doing some research and I'm learning new things every single day. It's almost my duty to pass that information on to my loyal readers and anyone else who stops by to check it out.

Of course, I'll still bounce from topic to topic as I see fit because I hate writing about boring things as much as people hate reading about them.

Anyway, all this and more should be happening by sometime tomorrow. Stay tuned and watch me make a dent in the virtual world known as the Internet.

    1. It seems only reasonable that the Master of the Philippines should have a Master Plan.
    2. I agree on not spinning your wheels on unproductive endeavors. The challenge is to figure out what is "productive" and what is "unproductive", or put another way, what works and what doesn't work. That said, some things are pretty obvious.
