RSS Feeds: Website Review: SmartCine
This is a specialty website with a blog added to it. A great site!
What is the "SmartCine" all about?
SmartCine is a movie site with user movie reviews, DVD release schedules, top movies and a blog. It's in a beta stage, so there are a few things missing as you navigate the menus.
Site Design
I won't critique the blog portion since it looks like the WordPress default theme. I did catch an article that I like there, "August Theatrical Release Schedule, because I always want to know what the latest releases are.
The website portion, the main page, looks pretty good. The CSS for the navigation links in the header need to be worked on because they resize when you hover over them. Also some of the links and anchors change after you move to another page.
Article Content
There's a whole lot of good content on the website portion as well as the blog portion. I would like to be able to get a feed of the website portion (which doesn't appear possible) because I'm more interested in the reviews than the blog itself.
It appears the only way to get a feed is by using a feedreader for the blog portion. I want a feed by email!
My Overall Opinion
I love this website. I wish there were more options besides visiting on a regular basis (like feeds by email, hint, hint). Of course, I'm a sucker for entertainment and gadget sites when they're done well.
I recommend this site if you're into movies of all kinds, like I am.

That looks like a really nice site, and I see that in the screenshot there is a picture of the new X-Files movie. I was never really into that show too much, but I'm sure the people who were are really, really excited about this movie. Interesting to see them both coming back after so long. And you do good reviews, stop being so modest.
