South Park pissed off Over the past week or so, I've purposely avoided writing about news items and other things that have kept me in a perpetual state of "pissed off".

As every good writer should know, it isn't a good idea to write when you're angry or upset about something. It tends to negatively influence the topic you're writing about. There are exceptions and I'm getting ready to exercise those exceptions.

You see, every time I see a certain video or a mere reference to it, I lose my temper and curse at everything around me. I need to put my thoughts into writing because I need to motivate someone, anyone, to do something about it since I'm unable to do anything about it myself.

I've also read a few blogs and news articles in the US as well as news articles here in the Philippines where the topics piss me off to no end as well. I need to write about these while I'm angry in order to get my point across.

I have been avoiding controversy, as well as the Digg front page (because I don't like the kind of traffic that Digg brings in — I've been there before), for far too long. I'm not saying that what I'm planning to write is Digg-worthy. On the contrary, I hope it's not. I do not want to spend hours with an inaccessible server ever again.

Be prepared for articles over the next few days in which I may seem like the most cantankerous person on the planet. I'll try to squeeze in a few blog reviews while I'm at it, but don't count on a whole lot.
