The only thing I didn't understand about this blog when I started looking at it is why it was named The Frustrated Computer Users Blog. FD, the author, didn't appear confused at all.
What is "The Frustrated Computer Users Blog" all about?
The blog's main focus is computer tips, guides and "how to" videos. It's not just another computer blog. It was created with all types of computer users in mind, from beginning to advanced.
Site Design
I'm not overly fond of the wordpress magazine theme layouts that have become popular in recent months, but at least FD makes good use of the multiple columns. I actually found it quite easy to browse the archives and categories. In fact, the categories as navigation items below the other "standard" navigational items made it extremely easy to get to where I wanted to go.
Believe it or not, I actually watched the "featured video" on the home page. In my opinion, it was in the perfect location.
Article Content
Since I've been a geek by trade in the past and because there's a whole lot of general computer information buried within my thick skull, I had to go through many articles (all of which were excellent, by the way) to find one that I wanted to write about.
"Protecting Your Computer System from Summer Storm Power Surges" is an important article for new computer users and explains how to protect your computer system from power surges. One method that he wouldn't know about, and I have personal experience with, is using a voltage regulator. An uninterruptible power supply (UPS) has one or two (depending on voltage) built-in, but you can buy a voltage regulator separately and for a lot less money. Since notebook (or laptop) computers have their own batteries, a voltage regulator would be sufficient for most people that use them.
My Overall Opinion
Barely over 2 months in age, this blog already has a lot of great information. I noticed that FD's posting multiple articles per day, and that's fine, but I'd suggest he pace himself and build a backlog in order to have some available when brain-freeze sets in.
I think the blog will become quite popular in the long run, especially if FD continues with daily posts.

My reviews aren't the best. They aren't even close. They are one thing, though. They're absolutely free! No refunds and no exchanges. Make your blog the very best you can make it and then submit it on my "Request A Blog Review" page and I'll try to make my review the best I can make it.
