"Tantric Yoga Techniques" is what I would call a niche blog. It may be a "made for AdSense" (MFA) blog, but if it is, it's being done wrong. More on that later.
What is "Tantric Yoga Techniques" all about?
Yoga is a group of ancient spiritual practices, possibly originating in India around 3300 BCE, for the purpose of cultivating a steady mind.
Tantra is an Asian body of beliefs and practices which, working from the principle that the universe we experience is nothing other than the concrete manifestation of the divine energy of the Godhead that creates and maintains that universe, seeks to ritually appropriate and channel that energy, within the human microcosm, in creative and emancipatory ways.
Tantric Yoga combines the two. This blog seems to mix sexuality with Tantric Yoga, but Tantra merely uses sexuality as part of the path to enlightenment.
Site Design
The blog design works well for a niche blog. Only the included images and videos make it more than the minimalist approach. The first thing I noticed about it was that it didn't cater to social traffic. Is it an MFA site? I don't know for sure, but if it is, the AdSense ads are in the wrong place.
MFA sites only work well when the ads are the first thing you see. In this blog's case, it's probably one of the last things you see. I don't think it's an MFA site and I didn't think so the first time I saw it or I would have declined to review it.
Article and Post Content
There isn't a lot of content to look at, with only 14 articles in place. The first article on the index page is static and it's entitled "Tantric Yoga". It explains Tantra but it doesn't explain the relationship between Tantra and Yoga, which is the basis for Tantric Yoga techniques.
My Overall Opinion
If you're interested in Tantric Yoga at any level, this blog may be of interest. Otherwise, you're probably better off spending your time somewhere else. It's a very specific niche.
I'm not interested in the blog, or the content, and this will probably be the last time I look at it. Regardless, it's a decent niche blog that's very new (April 2008). It'd be interesting to see how much traffic it draws in a few more months, but I'm not going to check up on it.
Would you like a Review?
My reviews aren't the best. They aren't even close. They are one thing, though. They're absolutely free! No refunds and no exchanges. Make your blog the very best you can make it and then submit it on my "Request A Blog Review" page and I'll try to make my review the best I can make it.
