Marvel Entertainment has a winner with Iron Man! Although I read comics as teenager (many, many moons ago), I never really got into the Iron Man series. I think that was an advantage this time around. Since I didn't know the comic book origin, I had nothing to compare it to.

I had the pleasure of watching Iron Man this past weekend and I must say, it was awesome. I didn't expect Robert Downey Jr. to do the fantastic job of playing Tony Stark that he did. I love surprises.

This movie provides a modern origin of the Iron Man superhero. Thank the stars it wasn't hokey like some of the other origin movies I've seen. The suit was fantastic, the villain was perfect, and I really couldn't find any faults in the story line, the special effects… nothing at all.
