Update – My Do Follow List, SocialSpark and Building Backlinks
Before I say anything else, I want you to know exactly what I think of SocialSpark right now. Look at the image to the left.
After spending hours over a few days, looking and thinking, I've determined that SocialSpark isn't worth my time. The opportunities suck and there's a whole bunch of newbie bloggers looking for review exchanges to build their backlinks. If you're a newbie, stay away from this kind of behavior. You'll build up backlinks faster by commenting on "do follow" blogs. Way faster.
I've removed the code for SocialSpark and IZEARanks from my footer. I wouldn't mind letting them gather data for my public statistics if it was even close to being correct. It isn't. The JavaScript hangs and people leave before it executes and those visits don't get counted. So much for their so-called "RealRank". It can't be real anything unless it records accurately.
I'm slowly adding links to my Do Follow, CommentLuv and KeywordLuv Blog List for a good reason. I'm commenting on those blogs and I don't want too many backlinks appearing in Google too fast. The last thing I need to do is to have this blog penalized by Google.

Paid reviews that are "nofollow" are ok, so Google wouldn't care.
I need to do exactly what you just did. I hate SS. The problem is I have so money to cash their and at PPP so I will have to wait until then.
My latest blog post: Do follow in comments
Will Google penalize a site for being involved in such a program or part of a Do-Follow list?
Simple answer: No. Complicated answer: If you get too many links from the same source too fast, Google will put a time-delay penalty for that source in place. They'll eventually count, but not for a long time.
you should think about posting about the scuttle script. The social bookmarking websites let you have as many tags as you want. Here is a list of five do follow social bookmarking websites you can use for search engine optimization and building back links to your website.

i don't remember the name of blog but it was PR4 and was penalized for giving reviews of blogs (do follow) while it was not even paid reviews. He fought, contacted google and justified his case and finally google restored after either making link no-follow or placing review pages to "no-index".
I haven't had a problem with that and I've been doing them for months.
I want to be included on your list but I don't know what specific plug-in I will use to remove the nofollow property of my links, can you suggest one. Just leave your reply to my if you just find time. Thanks!
