I've heard Zombie sung by relatives and neighbors doing karaoke (and very badly) in the Philippines so many times, I had to go back and listen to the original.
Zombie was released by The Cranberries in 1994, and it protested the conflict in Northern Ireland. The song itself doesn't make much sense to us Americans until we watch the video. Here it is:
