As I surf around the net, I come across blog articles of all kinds. Whether I comment on them or not, I'll bookmark them for future commenting, reference, or whatever. Well, I'm not keeping them to myself. I hope you enjoy what I have to offer this time around. Without further ado:
- Windy (or windyridge) writes about gadgets and gizmos at Today’s Gizmos, Gadgets & Tech. I spotted her post on 32 GB flash drives and started to salivate. My measly 2 GB thumb drive is completely full. 32 GB is more than most of my old computers had for hard drive space.
- James at digitalkey.info wrote a very good article on how to choose the best domain name for your blog or website. Although more expensive, dotster.com is also a good registrar that sucks at web hosting. I know that from experience.
- Markk of CommonSense With Markk says to write crap and you'll overcome writer's block. I agree as long as it's humorous crap. I don't care for other kinds of crap.
- Lin of Telling It Like It Is offers her insight on "How To Stop Enabling: When Our Grown Children Disappoint Us. I know exactly what she means. This is just one of her many articles on enabling versus helping, which are all well worth reading.
- I love the way Naomi of IttyBiz writes and "The Small Business Diva: When The Hatemail Is Better Than The Fanmail" is just an example. She's not afraid to include colorful metaphors to get the point across.
- AJ Vaynerchuk wrote a fantastic article on protecting your brand on Twitter. After reading it, I quickly made sure I had an account with my flagship blog's name.
- Graham of ImJustCreative wrote some compelling reasons to include signatures on your comments. This is especially true if you use keywords instead of your name as the comment author. Besides, it can't hurt to leave your "calling card" at the blogs you visit.
- Blogging Sueblimely offered her advice on how to speed up your Firefox browsing. I'm going to be using this particular list of tips in order to get around better when I don't need to use the extensions I'm using right now.
- Courtney Tuttle wrote a guest post at ProBlogger that gives 10 ways to improve blog traffic in 30 minutes or less. 30 minutes for him, but hours for me. Nevertheless, I'm now using some of those techniques.
- As a reminder of how we shouldn't be doing useless things, Alan Johnson wrote a list of 5 useless things you did today. Guilty as charged.
