What is "JJMelo" all about?

Jose Julian's (that's what the JJ in "JJMelo" stands for) blog is a mixture of things, mostly related to his work. His work includes being a freelance networking consultant and a web developer. He plays with gadget and then writes about them. He also plays the guitar.

Site Design

The theme is very nice and even with the widgets, it doesn't look cluttered. I really like the header banner, which includes an airplane, signifying his love of radio-controlled airplanes and helicopters.

The "about me" and contact pages available from the top navigation banner is the best place for them and he uses the space wisely.

The text, background and header colors complement each other. I like the style.

Article and Post Content

I enjoyed reading a few of the articles. The article, "AVOID AVG 8.0 AT ALL COSTS!" caught my eye immediately. I have version 7.5 on my PC and it looks like it's going to stay there until version 8 has matured a bit, based on his recommendation.

My Overall Opinion

I scanned through a few pages and enjoyed everything I read. I just wish he would post more often. I have his blog in my feedreader and I hope I didn't make a mistake. His last article was about 20 days ago, which would average 1 post per month if he continues that way.
