My return flight leaves for the Philippines at 5:00 am, Phoenix time, on Friday the 21st and I'll be arriving in Manila around 8:40 pm on the 23rd.
My mother was admitted to the Chandler (Arizona) Regional Hospital on Monday and I found out about it on Tuesday night. I didn't have a vehicle to use — my wife was at work and no one else was here.
She has gallstones and pancreatitis. It's bad enough that if she wasn't admitted on Monday, she might not be with us today.
I and my wife visited her this morning and will return again tomorrow, less than 24 hours before my flight. Some of my siblings (and spouses) were there and others the day before. Needless to say, I'm all out of time for blogging, writing or whatever you call this until the 24th (unless I get sick from the airline food, which means it could be a little longer). As I've always said, family comes first.
