I don't know what exactly Anand is doing with "The Anand's Ripples", but judging by his "about" page and some articles, he's been blogging for about 17 months, although he's been online for years.

All of the items I expect to see on a blog are there, the problem is that some of the pages are blank or don't work (and he tells why). The important thing I was looking for should have been on the sitemap page — the archives. Nope, just an XML sitemap there, barely human readable. I do like the rotating text above the topmost article on the index page. I've never seen that plugin before. Does anyone know where I can get it? I digress. The theme looks nice and the sidebar isn't cluttered.

It appears that Anand doesn't post frequently on this blog. I read his article on getting his first AdSense check in January, after 16 months of blogging. Anand needs to read some of my articles on traffic, because he should have made that months ago. I can't remember my first one and I've been blogging for about 20 months, not much longer than he has. I just post a lot more. I'm sure Anand could do a lot better, but it requires more effort than I can see on this blog.
