"Gemstone World Globes" is not an ordinary blog. Sure, it uses WordPress as the front end, but it's not a blog in any real sense of the word. So, in essence, this really isn't a blog review. I chose to write about it so you can see how a blog platform can be used for something other than a regular blog.
I have no way of knowing what original theme was used as the basis for this "blog", but it's been customized to be unrecognizable. The front page entries are links to an online store at Yahoo, whereas the category links show individual items which then link to subcategories or directly to the online store.
This is a jewelry store kind of blog. I followed a few links and the items are fairly expensive. I would probably go for a cheaper knockoff version of some of the items because the prices are just too rich for my blood. An example is the Lapis Gemstone Globe Pen & Brass Pen Stand. That baby's on sale for $184.00. If you like this kind of jewelry, however, the prices may not be obstacles.
