I have to admit that I don't know diddly about vegans, or even vegetarians for that matter. Since I'm a member of PETA (People Eating Tasty Animals), this is the first time I looked it up. Vegan: a vegetarian who omits all animal products from the diet. I assume this means animal by-products as well (don't ask).
Lane and Jane, a husband and wife team, recently became vegans (July 7, 2007) and with Vegan Bits, they're sharing their experiences as vegans. The theme they're using is familiar and easy on the eyes. I didn't see a contact page, or any other way to contact them from the main page, though I may have missed it.
I tried to figure out who wrote the latest article, "Compassion Will Cure More Sins than Condemnation", but there's no byline and it could have been either of them. I found by going back to "OK, I admit it, I slipped" that it was Lane telling the story. I really shouldn't have to do that.
Although I have no desire to ever become a vegetarian or a vegan, I'll probably enjoy reading about it from time to time. Perhaps you will too.
