One of the reasons I don't do blog reviews (or website reviews of any kind) back to back is so that I can go to a blog with a fresh perspective and be as objective as I possibly can. It's one of the ways that things that are wrong or missing stand out at me like a sore thumb.
"Digital Lounge" appears to be more about digital design than anything else. I came to that conclusion based on the most recent article in which Hammy wrote about having some Entrecard designs sold as well as some of the archived articles that appear design-oriented.
This is a Blogger Blog and it shows. I'm sorry; I've never liked Blogger blogs for various reasons. Things always seem to be a bit "canned" instead of showing originality. I noticed that Hammy has neither an about page nor a contact page. If they're there, I couldn't find them. If I dug deep enough, I could probably find the Blogger profile, but what does that tell us? Also, the disclaimer in the footer seems a bit odd. I would think it would serve its purpose on a dedicated page and the footer could be used for something else.
This isn't a new blog. It's the same age as mine. The only reason, that I can see, that it isn't doing as well as this one is due to the lack of frequent postings. Frequent as in at least 3 times per week. There are a lot of gaps of time between some of the postings. Why don't you pay Hammy a visit and see if he (or she as I have no way of knowing without reading until I find a reference) can be inspired to write more regularly.
