"AV Enthusiast" is yet another website that I had to add to my reading list. I love to read the latest news about audio and visual equipment, as well as trends in the industry. This blog has all of that.

The theme is really nice and keeps your eyes engaged. Michael has obviously done a lot with it and it's paid off. I spent quite a bit of time clicking around and reading and seeing what he had to offer and it was all good. It's easy to get around and all the elements I look for are in place. It should come as no surprise, though, because Michael told me it started its life as a blog.

I moved to a category that I'm particularly interested in, Blu Ray and HD DVD and found tons of useful information. I found the weekly Nielsen sales ratio extremely interesting. It appears that the DVD Blu Ray format is far outselling the HD-DVD format and that makes up my mind for any kind of DVD drive I may choose to upgrade to. If I'm given a choice between Blu Ray and HD-DVD, I'll have to go with Blu Ray.
