Blog Review: Marketing Tools Review
"Marketing Tools Review" is the second blog Hock asked me to review. I postponed this one for almost two weeks in order to get others done, for people who only requested one review.
Like his other blog, the theme for this one also does not take advantage of the full 1024×768 width. I think it's a mistake not to maximize the most frequently used resolution, but the theme is his choice and I won't harp on it. Wait, here's something that's odd. He mentions his contact form on the "about" page, but I don't see a link to it anywhere but there. I think it should be at the top, next to the link for his "about" page as well.
Skipping past the paid review and the article that points to yours truly, as well as some others, I settled my sights on "GoDaddy Coupon Code". Now this is something I really need to know about since I plan to make some domain name purchases soon. $6.95 for a domain? That's less than half of what I paid at a competitor. Oh well, color me stupid.
Anyway, this particular blog looks like the blog that Hock spends most of his time with and there's a whole lot of interesting things to read, including the paid review (although I don't really go for affiliate programs). Take a look see when you have the time.

Hey RT,
Thanks for the review. This blog is used as a testbed for a lot of things and as such it is always a work in progress. I will take note of the points you brought up.
Re:domain registration, GoDaddy is a good choice and so is NameCheap. They're both about the same price and you can always do a search for coupon codes online.

I hate searching for that kind of stuff. The results are almost always irrelevant.
I disagree. I always find them within the first results page and I always save money.

Well, I suppose it depends on what you're searching for. I probably don't search for the same things you do. My results are never that easy.
