It's time for another edition of my my infamous Blog Drive-Bys. Take a gander at what I've provided in today's…
Hari's recent article about what Papa Hara said Papa Hari said is enough to confuse the most befuddled mind even more. It's kind of scary, if you think about it, but it's still funny.
Chris Lodge wrote a piece titled "Why I'm Not Commenting On Blogger Blogs" back in mid-December. I dropped by to let him know that you can now indeed put your nickname and URL on Blogger blogs because I've already done it a few times. It seems Google realized their mistake and fixed it.
On my last batch of blog drive-bys, while I was writing about zombies, I neglected to mention Mike's article, "Forget Brains, These Zombies Need Schwag!". He mentioned in the comments that one guy spent his own money to fly from Canada to the UK just to be an extra. Zombie fanatics indeed!
Tim and Ernie over at Redneck Bar & Grill never fail to amuse me. This time it was a warning to all men. I think I may have been a victim of that scam once or twice myself.
It seems I'm not the only one having romantic problems with some of our favorite (or not-so-favorite) online programs. I once wrote a monologue titled "Me and Alexa - Love on the Rocks". Well, I was just one-upped by Darren Rowse of ProBlogger with his own soliloquy entitled "Dear AdSense, You Broke My Heart - An Open Letter to AdSense". I think us old farts are just getting sentimental.
Speaking of AdSense… First, Court over at Court's Internet Marketing School explained how to get worthless AdSense clicks and second, Vic at Blogger Unleashed followed up with AdSense basics. Finally, out of the blue, Stephen at More Than Scratch the Surface wrote about the AdSense dilemma (or how to make money) and then he explained how to avoid AdSense smart pricing on blogs. If all of those articles don't make people pull their heads out of their collective asses, nothing will. I'm making money with AdSense, why aren't you?
I have a secret for you. Well, it's not really a secret, but it might as well be if you haven't been over to Grizzly's "How to Make Money Online for Beginners" blog. Take a look at the right sidebar. Find the post, "Make Money Using Blogs - Lesson 1" and start reading. Don't quit until you've read just about everything in his sidebar. If you're new to blogging (within 3 months, I'd say), you need to read this stuff. Heck, you need to keep reading his articles, along with articles from the blogs I mentioned in the previous paragraph. If you're serious about learning how to make money online, learn how to do it from people who really are doing it and not just rehashing what they read somewhere else.
