As Seen On TV You see the image to the left and you probably think I'm going to talk about products on sale that are advertised with the "As Seen On TV" badge. Nothing could be further from the truth.

That badge indicates that a product is either extremely cheap, or a symbol of quality, depending on the perspective of the viewer. In a similar fashion, you may have a perspective of what kind of person I am. I could be an extremely boring person who writes nothing but Asian ramblings, a fascinating person who makes interesting observations, or someone in between. From my own perspective, I'm an extremely boring person and I write like one. To me, that fact is absolutely true.

Over most of the last 30 years, I spent most of my time being anything but a boring person, both in and out of the military, kind of like Sarge Charlie. Nowadays, I do things so you don't have to, knowing full well you'll never notice. It all happens behind the scenes most of the time. Speaking of behind the scenes, there are other people that do things like this. People like Andy Beard, Maki of Dosh Dosh and Chris Lodge of Blog-Op make things happen even when they're really not trying.

As I sit on my retired duff behind my PC, thinking my brown thoughts, I realize that I can't please you all of the time. Heck, I probably can't please you half of the time. Do you want to know something? I don't care! I don't have the necessary skills to always be an engaging and lively person. I don't even have enough skills to pay the bills most of the time.

When I write, I know that every opinion of mine is just another opinion among many. Of course, everybody's entitled to my opinion, even if you don't like it. I do, however, value the opinions of others over my own. Opinions of people like Erika Jean, Hazel of My Life, My Hope, My Future… and a myriad of others, are much more valuable to me than my own.

As one of my taglines indicates, I write blog reviews, promote other blogs, write about blogging issues, and write about monetization. These things keep me from boring myself, yet the question remains: Am I boring YOU?
