I don't know about you, but I can spot a professional blog a mile away. "Internet Marketing News and Tips" is such a blog.

If you have the appropriate plugins (for Firefox anyway), you'll notice that the blog doesn't rank high with Google or Alexa. There's a reason for that. Michael isn't interested in search engine optimization, even though he and the authors of this multi-author blog write about it. He's just looking for some good participation and some traffic, like most of us blog authors.

What caught my attention when I pulled up the "Write For Us" page is not that he's asking for writers like many multi-author blogs do, but that he's willing to pay the authors for writing quality articles. In a blatant attempt at self-promotion, I'm hoping he'll consider this review good enough to consider me as an author for his blog. That is, of course, after I obtain a stable Internet connection. Right now I can't guarantee I'll even be online on any particular day. My fingers are crossed for sometime during this coming January.

As a WordPress blog, all the elements for a good blog are in place. The only thing missing is a contact page. Call me picky, but "contact me (mmyles at allinanchor.com)" on the "Write For Us" page isn't an easy thing to spot. I missed it when I read the page the first time, and spent some time on other pages looking for the contact information, when it was right in front of me all along.

Okay, I've written far more than I intended without even delving into any of the articles. Head on over to the Internet Marketing News and Tips blog and read it for yourself. I intend to read much more than I have so far because this blog contains a lot of information that I really need to make myself familiar with.
