With a title of "Blog Badly", I thought I knew what to expect when I was preparing to visit this blog by Max Miroff. I thought it was going to pertain to blog improvement, but boy was I wrong! This is a humor and satire blog and it's brand new from the looks of it. Every article tells you how to blog badly, holding true to the name.
You have to look past the satire and realize what you're actually being told when you read these articles. Do the opposite of what's written and you'll be blogging "goodly" (is that even a word?). Of course, Max failed to set a bad example because his WordPress theme looks way too clean for this kind of satire. According to Corey Thompson, "He needs a theme that has clashing colors and lots of "blink" tags on the text, with a bright yellow highlight background to the text, but only the blinking word. Its more garish that way!"
Just take a look at the latest article (right now), "Best Blog Ads: Pop-Ups", and you'll realize how funny it really is. I recommend reading it on a regular basis for a change of pace.
