PopTherapy.com

Darrin, the mastermind behind SlipperyBrick, has a couple of more blogs he wanted me to check out. This is one of them. Before I get into anything at all, I have to say that this blog needs the benefits of Who Sees Ads, a WordPress plugin from planetozh. The survey ad, as well as the Google AdSense ads, (that you can see in the snapshot above) will turn off the average returning visitor.

There are a lot of interesting posts on PopTherapy.com. Sticking to the front page, the customary action I take when reviewing blogs, I found that each post on the front page was interesting enough to read and ponder over. I especially enjoyed the take on Michael Jackson as an alien abductor.

The theme contains everything necessary to become a popular blog, but I don't like the width. It appears to be optimized for the 800×600 resolution, which isn't a popular resolution anymore. It would look much better if it was optimized for the 1024×768 resolution. It's pretty simple to change in the style sheet, if you know what to look for. Here's a hint for the 800×600 resolution visitors: min-width:950px;

Regardless of any shortcomings I may have pointed out, I like the blog and I intend to go back and visit regularly.
