Website Review: What's Your 20?
It's not a blog, but I was asked to take a look at it anyway. I normally only do free reviews for blogs, but every once in a while, I'll do something like this; a free review of a non-blog website.
The title and the phrase, "What's your 20?", is a an expression that truckers in North America use on their CB radios, which refers to the North American law enforcement "ten-code" established back in 1937. The "10-20" code means "Specify Location/My Location is ___/Location", except in New York City where it means "Report of past robbery". I know this stuff because I've worked with law enforcement and the trucking industry, both in and out of the military. You can read more about the ten-codes at Wikipedia.
"What's Your 20?" is a travel website that provides localized information on events, attractions, and activities based on your current location. That's a feature that isn't working for me, probably due to my poor connection. You can search for other locations but from what I can see, most of it's in the US. Of course, that's to be expected since the website is based in the US and also because it's still in beta status. I did a search for Asia, where I am, and didn't come up with much at all.
There are currently 134,535 locations on file, a number that can only get larger as more people get involved with the website. Members can build travel itineraries, create travel journals and manage photo albums. Members can also write reviews for any location. The page, "Trip to Black Hills of South Dakota" is a featured travel journal by one of the members. If you have the time to spare, this is something I'd recommend getting involved in. It doesn't cost anything at all except your time.

What's Your 20 seems like a traveler's dream. I went to check the site out and am glad you decided to feature it on your blog (otherwise I would never have come across it). Another travel site I like is everybody's favorite lonely planet but What's Your 20 allows members to actually write reviews. I like getting involved that way. Plus, they have something like a featured activity on the main page that makes it easier to decide on a destination.

I'm glad you found it useful.
Jay is a spammer. He comments for money. He is trying to improve his search rankings by spamming our blogs. Please delete his painfully anodyne comment. Search for his moniker elsewhere if you don't believe me.
Since he's only commented once on my blog, I find it hard to believe. Now you've commented once on my blog. How do I take your word over his?
found your post in google and love them. Jay and Jay nemesis wow..just like one side of a coins..
This is something I have never heard of. What's your 20 seems like a great site, very useful for travelers.
I think this is an example of valuing product over brand. Clearly there is strength in the EB offering – it is a quality product. But it is also a premium product.
