I'm still going through my old Google Alerts, deleting way more than I'm including in these posts. Eventually, at 10 or so per posting, I'll get through them all and only have to do it as they build up again. Here are some more interesting backlinks:
- I posted an article at Wrongblog (which I don't do very often), a multi-blogger blog where anyone can post articles, about using Digg for backlinks. If you have an article submitted to Digg, it will generate a backlink to your blog.
- Lord Matt, the guy behind The fantastic site of Lord Matt, linked out and indicated he got stuck at my blog long enough to read two or three articles. I hope he comes back to read more.
- Someone at BlueFur.com's In The Sphere blog posed a rhetorical question in reference to my evil bittorrent article.
- Sandee, the comedian at Comedy Plus, gives me awards more often than I'd like to count. This one on October 10th was the Integrity Award. She gave me two more on November 17th. You're going to be seeing her blog appear a lot in future "Backlink Bonanza" posts. I know… I need to make an awards page of some kind.
- Maurice of the CaymanHost Blog linked out to my blog snobbery article, calling it a nice little rebuttal of holier than thou bloggers.
- Josh from Internet Marketing with Josh Spaulding tagged me with the "5 Questions About the Online You" meme. I didn't respond and now I'm responding with an official UnMeme. He later linked to Hari's article on losing money with AdSense.
- Matthew, The Irreverent Buddhist, displayed the works of art he did for my logo contest. Although I didn't select one of his, my upper left vortex emblem was his design.
- Stine at her other blog, Mother’s Got A Dot Com, admitted her guilt in response to my article about bloggers needing to change.
- Tobsy, while on his bloggers journey, referred to my hotspots and readability article during his stumble into the weekend.
- The Brown Baron, who's always having Brown Thoughts linked to me 3 times as part of his "Link Love Fiestas". The 1st time was Brown Batch #14 where he referenced my humorous spaghetti post. The 2nd time was Brown Batch #25 where he mentioned my link it forward article. The 3rd time was Brown Batch #31 where he linked to my hotspots and readability article as well.
I'm setting up a database so that I don't repeat myself. I'm also going to extract the pings from the blog's comments table and use it as soon as I get through all of my alerts. Which do you prefer, Pingback Prosperity or Pingback Payolla?
