Are We There Yet?

Wow, Linda writes some extremely longggggggg articles! If you're looking for an in-depth personality, look no further than "Are We There Yet?". There are certain things I look for when I arrive at a blog for the first time, like more about the person. I discovered that Linda served in the US Air Force at one time (and I added her to my "Old Habits Die Hard" post, in which I'll add anyone who tells me they had US military service or are in the service) and that she lives in Hartford, Connecticut.

I don't generally harp on about the theme that's being used, unless there's something really wrong with it. I didn't see anything wrong with this one, but I did see something that Linda might want to examine. The images at the top of her page pretty much cover the opening page in a browser. If I didn't know it was a blog, I might be inclined to move on.

Scrolling down the home page, I discovered that Sarge Charlie had a birthday and is married to Empress Bee. I've seen both of their names in comments on various blogs, but never snatched the web addresses to add them to my feedreader. I just added both Sarge Charlie and Empress Bee. Oops! Linda left the "L" out of Charlie in the link. Anyway, since Sarge Charlie is an Army veteran (of WWII just like my father), he's going on my "Old Habits Die Hard" post as well.

I really enjoy reading personal blogs, even though I may not comment on them much. If you like personal blogs as well, I recommend this one (and the others I mentioned).
