   I once had a customer come into the store and write a check for future deposit. So the check went to the bank and a few days latter it came back. So I called the customer to inform her that her check had returned NSF. She then explained to me that I have made a terrible mistake. So asked her why she thought so.

   She replied well I am looking at my checkbook as we speak and I still have checks in my check book so my check could not have bounced!

      Hahaha!! It's true. When I was in the military, and before Direct Deposit took off, I had troops under me bouncing checks left and right for the same exact reasons — checks equaled money in the bank.
