Before I get into this, I have to tell you what a "bading" is. Bading (pronounced like "bah-ding" with emphasis on the second syllable) is a Tagalog slang word for "bakla" (pronounced like "bock-la"). Bakla is the Tagalog word for male homosexual. Over the past 20+ years, I've heard many slang words that refer to baklas. The term "bennie boy" is one of them, but you don't hear it used anymore. Bading just happens to be the slang word right now — it'll probably change again.

You can probably say that all males are sexual predators at one time or another, which is probably true. Badings, on the other hand, are sexual predators all the time. In fact, my experiences and observations over the last year and half have proven it to me. During this time, one of my nephews (he's either 18 or 19 now) came completely out of the closet. He has spent more time chasing other men than he has anything else, including going to college. He chases men even while he's at school.

As I've aged (and I'm fast approaching 47), I've tried to be more tolerant of alternative lifestyles. I find my tolerance wearing thin when it personally affects me. One of my sisters-in-law has a fiancé whose brother may be a bading, but I'm not sure. I only know that he grabbed my ass like I was a woman a couple of months ago. If certain people hadn't been around, he'd be minus an arm right now.

I've been receiving phone calls from people dialing the wrong number off and on. Just yesterday, however, it wasn't a wrong number. It was a bading looking for a new contact. He started out asking for someone I never heard of. He then started asking personal questions. When he asked for my name, I slammed the phone down. I was extremely pissed off by the maneuver.

My son used to carry a cell phone that his cousin (the flaming bading) would borrow on occasion. When he started receiving random text messages from badings looking for a date, he told his cousin to keep the phone. He was through with being disgusted on a daily basis. I told him, just a few hours ago, the same thing I'm going to tell you:

The next bading that comes on to me or touches me in any inappropriate way is going to find himself in a world of pain, possibly with injuries requiring hospital treatment.
