In a roundabout way, Damanjit Singh asked for a review of his blog, Welcome 2 Free Software Downloads World. The blog name is unusual to say the least.
When I arrived at the main page, I was greeted with three Google AdSense horizontal ad bars all in a row. It's not a good idea. Those three ad units should be in three different places on the blog. Having three at the top like that practically guarantees that many readers will move on to another site without looking at anything.
There's something wrong there. It's a two column theme and the sidebar looks like it starts a bit late in the game. I went searching for his "about" page and didn't find one. The only form of contact options, that I could see, was a chat box and regular blog comments. I couldn't find anything else.
There's quite a few downloads, of all kinds, presented on the blog. Unfortunately, some of the download links aren't links at all. They're just plain text. The first two on the main page are primary examples — I didn't look any deeper.
I hate to nitpick, but if a person is going to write an English language blog, even as a second language, there are some punctuation and spelling rules to follow. There is no such thing as "softwares" since "software" is already plural. Also, there should always be at least one space following a period when a period is used at the end of a sentence. More times than not, a space should also follow a comma.
This blog has a lot of potential. Damanjit needs to work on it a bit before he'll be able to realize that potential.
