I changed my sources for great blog articles once again. My recent Feed Me Links endeavor is one of them. I'm now also scanning the RSS feeds for the BUMPzee! No Nofollow | I Follow | DoFollow Community. It's one of the proofs I have that Andy Beard is Evil. He's not really evil, but I don't mind poking fun at him. Please enjoy today's…
I learned through the Papa Hari News Service that there's a Worldwide ban on plastic smiles. Always concerned about the environment, the Papa Hari Foundation for Environmental Issues Related to Plastics (PHFEIRP) has banned plastic smiles all over the world. They recommend using metal smiles, which are much more biodegradable than plastic.
Maurizio thought he received Spam from Microsoft Live. I don't think it was spam. I think it was a poorly conceived text message. No one ever said that Microsoft had any smart people in their email services departments.
An old article, but still a good one, Shrinidhi wrote about Rejection Handling-Causes and Remedy. I could have used advice like that as far back as 30 years ago. I didn't do things very often to cause me to have problems like that and I still don't because "I just don't think I can take that kind of rejection." (Marty McFly, 1985).
The Magical Rose Garden is conducting a Spotlight on: YOUR SITE for the American Cancer Society campaign. Get your site reviewed for $35 or more, $25 will get your site mentioned in a recap post, and $10 will get you a link in their sidebar for a year (the previous two will also get the link). The proceeds go to the American Cancer Society.
Rocky John Tayaban wrote an interesting article about using MyBlogLog for Free Blog Promotion. I've seen referrals from MyBlogLog come in and this explains why.
Sutocu wrote a bit about TNX.net as one of a few Link and Traffic Exchanges - BlogRush Alternatives. Later on, the What’s Up in the Blogosphere 3 article pointed to a positive review of TNX.net by Courtney Tuttle titled "Make Money Online w/ TNX.net". I haven't been approved by TNX.net yet and can't give you any real thoughts on it right now.
Josh wrote an article about 7 Link Bait Ideas - You need some Link Bait. Link bait brings in backlinks and traffic to go with it. Perhaps this article will give you a little inspiration on link bait tactics of your own. I know I don't do enough of it myself.
Janet wrote a pretty good tutorial on How To:Use Iframes to Speed Up Your Blog while pointing to Earl's article on Keeping javascript widgets from controlling your blog. If you must have your javascript widgets in the sidebar, this is one way to keep them from slowing the rest of your blog down.
Ronald has a WP Plugin Idea - Comment Signatures. You need to get over there and let him know how you feel about it. I already did.
Kirk, a guy about my age, says that there's A Name for us Old(er) Bloggers Needed and then pointed to Grandad's article, "I’m not a suicide bomber". I'm partial to "BC" (Before Computers) myself.
And now for my Filipino friends (and anyone interested in boxing). I didn't watch the Manny Pacquiao fight yesterday, but these people did:
The AnitoKid gave us A Blow-by-Blow account on the Will to Win: Manny Pacquiao vs. Marco Antonio Barrera at the Mandalay Bay!. It really is a blow by blow account.
The Pinoy Bloggers Society pointed to Sonnie's Will To Win At Mandalay article and then the Pinoy Bloggers Society pointed to Niña's Pacman Wins, VP de Castro pats him on the back article.
After reading all that, I didn't need to see the fight.
