Are you geeky enough to win a portion of more than $1,300 in cash and prizes? I received a personal invitation from Kiltak of [Geeks Are Sexy] Technology News to participate in a group writing project contest, but it's open to anyone who wants to join in.
The prizes, details and rules are all displayed in the article, The [GAS] ultimate “How To” contest - More than $1300 in prizes!, so I'm just going to repeat the details:
To participate in the contest, you’ll need to write and submit a new “How To” article to be published on your own site. If you do not have a place to publish your article, we will gladly do it for you. Your article must be unique, meaning that it can’t have been previously written or published. Please also consider linking back to this post to let your readers know you’re participating.
This “How To” must be geeky. Anything related to technology, gadgets, graphic editing, gaming, software, hardware, blogging, and computer security is fine.
The contest starts today. We’ll give you a month to write your articles, and then we’ll select six random winners.
Plus, if you’ve got a blog of your own and choose to blog about the event, you’ll get an extra chance at winning. Just be sure to read the rules carefully before submitting your entry.
The article was written on September 27th and the contest ends at the end of October. That's plenty of time to get your geek on.
