September was another lackluster month in the history of this blog. I posted a whopping total of 17 articles (of which one has been transferred to my other blog).

September 5, 2006: I wrote about a Google AdSense violation I was informed of. Thinking back, it was odd that I even received a warning when I've seen others have their accounts terminated for similar violations. In the third paragraph, I said I wasn't too concerned although I was completely wrong about how much I would earn.

September 6, 2006: My house was almost done. The final touches took a bit longer.

September 7, 2006: I wrote about a couple of lines of PHP code I used to defeat one form of comment spam. It worked, temporarily, but I removed it when the spammers changed tactics.

September 8, 2006: Our fence gate was installed. A side brace was put on because of how heavy it was, but the brace is loose now and practically worthless. Our gate is hard to open and close. Oh well, I only need to open it once or twice a month because I don't drive the car very often. I use a small gate, within the gate, to get in and out.

September 9, 2006: I inspected the damage when I returned back from the beach. I don't have a farmer's tan anymore, but I don't get much sun nowadays. I spend too much time indoors.

September 11, 2006: The September 11 anniversary. Need I say more?

September 12, 2006: I complained about the municipal water here in the Philippines. More than a year later, things haven't changed a bit.

September 13, 2006: I wrote about my youngest nephew Ralp's birthday. What a waste of time and money.

September 14, 2006: I complained about the shoddy workmanship used in some of the construction of my house. A total of 8,000 pesos (about $160 in US dollars) was deducted from the final payment.

September 18, 2006: I wrote about the Langalist effect and the traffic it brought me. The Langa.com com is all but dead now since he merged his publication with Windows Secrets. I also wrote that I was a working on a link directory which I eventually gave up on. I just wasn't motivated enough to put the time into it.

September 19, 2006: I wrote about the free web hosting you could get at frihost.com. You still can.

September 25, 2006: I was busy preparing for the move into my new house.

September 28, 2006: I started moving into my new house. It's not new anymore!

September 29, 2006: I thought the move would be delayed by Typhoon Milenyo but I was wrong. We were all moved in by the end of the day.
