Blog Drive-Bys for 2007-09-22
I want to quickly mention something without starting a separate post. The lawsuit between the other party and my brothers-in-law was over as of yesterday. Our side won. After more than six years, it's finally over. I took a few hours "off" from my normal routine to celebrate.

I love to be fed links for my drive-bys. It makes it so much easier to find good things to write about. I'll be writing about one source I get fed from in today's…
Pearl wrote an exhaustive comparison of male and female bloggers, as well as male and female readers, in her analysis of the Male-Female Ratios of 50 Most Influential Blogs and some over at Interesting Perspectives. Her results clearly show lopsidedness, leaning towards males, in the blogging world.
Maki of Dosh Dosh wrote an in-depth article, "StumbleUpon Networking: How to Easily Share Content and Build Relationships". He not only wrote it, but he practices what he preaches. I get a lot of links sent to me this way. There's no way on Earth I could ever write about every link I receive from StumbleUpon, I get that many.
Jon, that SmartWealthyRich guy, wrote an interesting article about what to do during "slow" periods over at his other blog, Freelance Folder, with the article entitled "Ahh! Those Slow Months!". I know that was a mouthful, but hey, I liked it.
I am tickled pink. I wrote a review for More Than Scratch The Surface a little while back and Stephen has implemented some of my recommendations as well as at least one of my ideas (though I'm not telling and you'll have to look for yourself). I'm glad I could be of help!
Peter Haslam, of Necessary Skills, wrote about the way some people do The Right Thing for the wrong reasons. If a person needs to display their good deeds like a badge, were they really good deeds? I prefer the anonymity of doing "the right thing" without worrying about it. If I tried to keep track, that's all I would ever be able to keep track of.
Lis over at "About Everything Little Thing" asked a very simple question: Where Have All the Good Men Gone? Reading what she wrote in trying to answer her own question is just hilarious. I have an answer. Right here, baby, but I'm already taken.
I couldn't believe my eyes when I spotted Lorna's article entitled "Measure your schlong the shoe size way". It opens the way to all kinds of comeback lines, but I don't think it's appropriate here. It could get kind of hairy, if you know what I mean.

My drive-bys are usually a little longer, but I'm a little bit tired and I have quite a few "real world" things to take care of in a few hours. This may be my only post for the day.

Thanks as always RT for your mention
Thanks for the mention! That just confirmed what I (and every single woman out there) have always suspected: all the good ones are either taken or gay.
