The very first thing I noticed when I visited Desh's blog, DRISHTIKONE, was that the theme did NOT look like many of the familiar themes. It looked like a custom theme. I was scratching my head over the title until I read the "about" page. It means "view from an angle" in Hindi. I know it's not pronounced this way, but I found it easier to remember it by pronouncing it like "district one".
I didn't find his contact information on the front page, but as a link image on the "about" page, and I guess that's okay even though I prefer to use a contact form on a separate page. Curiously, both because the "about" page mentioned it and because I saw the tab at the top of the page, I clicked for the "Forums". I was greeted with a "Page not found". Other than those things, I have to say the theme is a nice, clean-looking, three-column, fluid-width design. It looks real nice on my widescreen display.
I rarely come across a blog where the author writes as often as I do. This is one of those rare occasions. Desh's blog is just over two years old and the number of articles for this month alone is already at 46. This review is number 52 for me. His blog is definitely personal and there's enough there to keep me and anyone else busy for a long time. I'm adding it my feedreader now because there's just too much good stuff that I don't want to miss out on. I found his recent article, Meat Eating Hurts Human AND Environment Health!, both informative and humorous. This is only one example of the variety of articles on his blog. I wholeheartedly recommend it.
