I've read Siu's blog, The Shoe, a few times before. However, as he recently admitted in a comment for Are you a Serious Blogger?, he hasn't been writing a lot on his blog.
I want to inspire Siu to write on his blog more often. He writes good stuff when he does write. His latest article, Erap and His Three Billion, shows that he can write very well when he takes the time to do it. "Erap" is former Philippine President Joseph Estrada's nickname. He was convicted of plundering.
I've seen Siu's theme after he changed it at least twice. The latest one has a very nice background, in my own humble opinion. His three-column theme, hosted on i.ph, appears easy to read and follow. He has his "about" information and his emaillink in the right sidebar and I think he should create separate pages for them. He has some widgets in the left sidebar that don't quite fit in the space provided. He may want to consider moving some of them over to the right sidebar to even things out a bit, preferably the ones that appear to be right-aligned.
Overall, Siu's site is a nice, personal blog that's legally-oriented. He is, after all, a lawyer by trade. I don't like lawyers (or attorneys) unless they're bloggers.
