Staylor's blog, banyan of ideas, will be an interesting blog to stay caught up with. The goal is to create streams of income without ever spending a penny. Yes, I know, it's another "make money online" blog. I think the difference is in the "no spending" part. The authors of other blogs of this kind spend money on them, even if it's as little as the amount for a domain name.
Looking at the theme, I loved the header logo, especially the Banyan tree. I recognized it immediately. How? I used to be a "Banyan Vines Administrator" for a military network. Unlike the Internet, the Vines networks are inherently secure. So secure, in fact, that I used to get locked out frequently.
I spotted the "about" information and the old-style anti-spam email address in the left sidebar. I think there should be a little more "about" in the "about" and hopefully on a separate page. The email address should be updated with a new style link or a separate contact page. Little things like that make a good blog better.
I like the way Staylor is chronicling the events. The blog appears to be a little over a month old and there's sufficient content to keep it appearing active. I'm curious if Staylor will eventually get a domain name, at the cheapest price of course, in order to take advantage of sponsored posts when the blog attains the prerequisite three months of age. I know it goes against the goal, but the blogspot.com domain (along with others) is barred from a lot of the higher paying sponsored posts. Perhaps buying the domain name with blog earnings will qualify as "not spending a penny".
