I published a sponsored post nearly three weeks ago about a free year of hosting on a Windows 2003 server. Since I have a few video-type posts on this blog, and I don't plan to do any more here, I thought it might be a good idea to start another blog just for videos — slideshows, movies, television, etc. What better way to do it than to do it with a minimal investment (i.e. domain name only)?

There are some SEO-related tools I plan to use, starting with a theme that's supposed to be really good: The ProSense Theme. I haven't downloaded or dug into it very deep yet, but I plan to do so before using it.

One of the .htaccess tricks I use for this host, which runs on an Apache webserver, won't work on a Windows server. At least, I don't think so. I'm talking about redirecting the "www" subdomain to the main domain or vice-versa. Well, as I found while looking at an article on OneMansGoal.com, I plan to use the WordPress no www plugin at Photo Matt.

What about the videos and stuff on this blog? Well, I plan to redirect those to the new blog using the Redirection plugin at Urban Giraffe.

The only dilemma I face right now is the domain name.

(Update: Dilemma solved, domain name registered. I should have the new site online by the end of the week, or even as early as tomorrow.)
